Domestic students who study at ACAP Byron Bay may be eligible for up to $45,000 with a Destination Australia Scholarship

ACAP are excited to announce a limited number of Destination Australia Scholarships for Domestic Students in 2024 who undertake study at our Byron Bay (NSW) campus. These scholarships are available thanks to funding from the Australian Government and aim to support people who choose to live and study in a regional area of Australia.

The details

ACAP’s Destination Australia scholarship program is available to Domestic students who wish to study Counselling at ACAP Byron Bay in 2024.

A cash amount of $15,000 per enrolled year of study (up to $45,000 for a 3 year degree) is available for successful applicants enrolled on-campus at ACAP Byron Bay for each full-time year of study. See the terms and conditions for full details.formanchor

WHO CAN APPLY

Anyone who is:

  • A Domestic student studying the Diploma of Counselling Skills or Bachelor of Counselling in 2024
  • An enrolled full-time student at ACAP Byron Bay
    (on-campus study)
  • Are from underrepresented groups including but not limited to:
    • Low socio-economic status;
    • First in family to tertiary study;
    • Those living with a disability;
    • First Nations people;
    • Those who can demonstrate financial hardship or other barriers to studying at ACAP Byron Bay.
  • Must demonstrate and maintain residency in the Northern Rivers
    region ~ at the time of commencing study and for the duration
    of the scholarship

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    • Applicants are to be a Domestic student wanting to commence study in the Diploma of Counselling Skills or Bachelor of Counselling in 2024.
    • Applicants must be a commencing student enrolled full-time on-campus at ACAP Byron Bay and reside in the Northern Rivers region for the duration of their study.
    • Scholarships will be prioritised applicants from underrepresented groups including but not limited to low-socio-economic status, those first in family to tertiary study, those living with a disability and First Nations people
    • Applicants must meet ACAP's published domestic entry requirements
