Results release for each Trimester are done after Academic Conferral. You can find these dates for every trimester here.
When your results are ready, you will be able to view them through the ‘Academic Results’ tab within your Student Portal.
Your displayed results will include your individual unit assessment grades and any formative activity results you completed as part of your coursework. Your assessment grades and formative activity results can be identified by the Category names assigned – ‘Assessments’ and ‘Formative Activities’, respectively.
If you had an extension, Academic Consideration in Assessment, incomplete attendance, an appeal, you are still finalising your placement, or anything else that may lead to a delay in a submission and subsequent marking, your result will be amended after the official results are released. This may take up to 2 weeks from the notification of what your result is. Your results will show us as Result Pending or RP.
If the above advice on a ‘Results Pending’ grade does not apply here, please email your name, student ID, unit code, trimester, year, and assessment number to [email protected], and our team will look into this for you.
Yes, you can re-enrol before you receive your results. If you have difficulty, please contact [email protected] before the census date of the following trimester and ideally as soon as possible.
Any results updated after the official release of results go through a detailed approval process before you can view them on the portal; this may take up to 2 weeks.
Results for deferred exams will usually not be ready when official results are released but shortly after. Your result will remain ‘pending’ until then.
Grades are used at both the individual assessment task and overall unit/ subject final result level. For clarification on what your grade means, reference the ACAP Grade Table.
Only once your grades have been officially released will you be able to receive a copy of your Transcript or Statement of Results. These requests are made by completing the forms found on ACAP’s A to Z forms page. These official documents take up to 10 business days to be processed and posted from the College. If you require a testamur, please contact [email protected].
All students have the right to appeal their result for an assessment or the feedback provided by their teacher. To appeal a decision, you will need to fill in the Assessment Appeal Application Form and send it back to us.
Students who have been identified as ‘possibly ready to graduate’ will be notified via email the following fortnight after official grades are released.
These identified students are then put through academic, professional body and graduation checks. Successful students are then notified of their graduation via mail, following the Academic Board’s official conferral. This will include an invitation to attend the next graduation ceremony in the relevant State. This ‘Confirmation of Graduation’ can take some time as it must pass through multiple internal and external bodies. An unofficial transcript can be printed from the Student Portal (Proof of Enrolment Tab) whilst waiting for this to be completed.
