Join us for an online session where you’ll learn about Work Integrated Learning (including the Placements Program) at ACAP. During this interactive session, we will delve into what is Work Integrated Learning, explore the courses in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology and Criminology that feature placement opportunities, discuss the program structure, and showcase the array of placement options available.
You will also gain firsthand insights from professional organisations who will discuss the benefits they have gained by partnering with ACAP. Additionally, we will introduce you to ACAP alumni who will share their transformative placement experiences and the outcomes they’ve achieved following their placement.
WHAT YOU GET OUT OF THIS SESSION
- You have an opportunity to ask questions to experienced members of the ACAP placement team, industry connections and ACAP alumni.
- You will understand the benefits of the placement program, including the guidance and mentorship you will receive if you undertake an ACAP placement.
- You will gain an understanding of ACAP’s vast industry connections.
This session will be held on Thursday 28 November at 6pm (AEDT).
Meet the Presenter
Zoe has been in the Higher Education industry for over 20 years and most of those years in the ‘placements’ landscape. As the National Industry Placements Manager at ACAP for more than 4 years, Zoe has experience in establishing partnerships with organisations nationally. She manages the ACAP Work Integrated Learning national team.
